Purchase & Refund Policy
Last updated October 3, 2026
The short version
All sales are final and non-refundable. You confirm this before you pay.
Why
As soon as your payment goes through, you get the whole course straight away: every lesson, the practice tools and the certification exam. Because the full course is delivered the moment you pay, we cannot take it back. That is why all sales are final and non-refundable.
How we make sure you know before you pay
- Before you can pay, you must tick a box that says: "I understand this purchase is non-refundable. All sales are final." You cannot continue without ticking it. We record the date and time you ticked it, together with those exact words.
- Your receipt shows the same acknowledgement. You can find your receipts under My Learning.
What non-refundable means
We do not give refunds when, for example:
- You changed your mind, or no longer need the course.
- You did not start or finish the course.
- You did not pass the certification exam. You can retake it.
- You were not hired or assigned to judge an event.
- Scoring rules changed after you bought the course. We update the course when rules change.
Refunds at our sole discretion
TCDA may, at its sole discretion, issue a refund in a particular case (for example, for a duplicate charge), but is not required to.
Payments are processed by Link, a Stripe service. In limited cases, such as a duplicate or unauthorized charge, Link may issue a refund under its own policy.
If a refund is issued, it goes back to the card you paid with, through Stripe. Your bank may take several business days to show it. When a purchase is fully refunded, access to that course ends, and any certificate earned through that purchase may be revoked. Nothing in this policy takes away any right the law gives you.
If you see a charge you do not recognise
Our payments are handled by Stripe through its Link service. The charge appears on your statement as LINK.COM* TCDA COURSES. If you see a charge you did not make, tell your card issuer and contact us.
Card disputes (chargebacks)
Please contact us before you dispute a charge with your bank. Most problems can be fixed quickly.
If you do open a dispute:
- your access to the course is paused while the dispute is open;
- if the dispute is decided in our favor, your access comes back;
- if it is decided against us, your access stays closed, and any certificate earned through that purchase may be revoked.
If you dispute a charge, our payment provider responds on our behalf, and we may share your purchase records.
How to contact us
If you paid but cannot get into the course, or you have a question about a charge, email support@travelcheer.com from the email address on your account, and include your receipt number if you have it. We will reply as soon as we can.
